After, everyone settled back down again and relaxed, I set out to get miss Eloise reacquainted with the rules of the house (which was not much of a problem since this girl is so smart). I also promptly scheduled a visit to my vet to have her thoroughly examined to ensure that she was still in excellent condition, which I am happy to report, she is, she’s in great health and up-to date on her puppy vaccines. I gave the little miss a much needed puppy trim and a nice bath to make her look and smell her best.

She is happily enjoy her time back home, while awaiting her perfect new home and owners (though I seem to be more than tempted to wish to keep her).

Please email me if you are interested in adding this adorable little darling into your heart and home?

Remembering my last litter. http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/03/remembering-my-last-litter/ http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/03/remembering-my-last-litter/#comments Wed, 27 Mar 2013 22:41:59 +0000 Town & Country Cockapoos http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/?p=3534 I have enjoyed loving and raising these amazing babies, though waking up in the early am for feedings and cleaning up after whining puppies might not have been the highlights, but it has certainly been a pleasure sharing my time with such joyful and adorable puppies. I will remember this litter dearly and appreciate the way they helped me to realize how blessed I have been living in this wonderful home and being able to raise great dogs in such a lovely environment.

My dogs live in every area of this house, as a vital part of our lives and household. My puppies are all born in my bedroom and are later moved to my adjoining sitting room, where I am able do work but keep an eye on them as they run around and play. They are later moved down to the sun filled family room and kitchen area, where they are met and greeted by visitors and new owners. Here they become accustomed to the sights and sounds of daily life, Jay and I, in the kitchen preparing and cooking dinner, friends and family stopping by for visits, the sounds of the washing machine and the vacuum (normally due to cleaning up after the puppies). I could not have conceptualize a better place for Town & Country Cockapoos, being able to raise such outstanding Cockapoos; Socializing and acclimating them to integrate easily into your lives. This home has helped me to share a dream of mine with so many of you and I am so thankful, so grateful that I was able to express myself in this way and share not only these outstanding Cockapoos but my home with all of you.

Enjoy the tons of pictures!

The little black beauty

The little black beauty

As of this afternoon, this adorable and pleasantly gentle little lady is available and looking for a great home.

She had recently been placed within a lovely home with a great owner, I was very happy for her placement because this little girl is so smart and well-mannered (she shows such maturity for her young age of 10 weeks) that I really wanted her in a home where she would shine. Unfortunately, this afternoon I took a call from her owner who is very saddened to have to give her up. Her owner discovered today that she (not the puppy) has to have major surgery. She fears since she lives alone that she won’t be able to continue to keep up with the puppy. She hopes that I might be able to help find this beautiful little girl a new home. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to keep her for long due to the amount of changes that we are personally undergoing.

This little beauty is a little more special than a typical puppy, her personality is lovable, playful and happy but she is so smart and has such knowing eyes. She is healthy and current on her puppy vaccinations. Her brilliantly colored, full black coat is non-shedding, which is great if you have allergies because this sweet little girl loves to snuggle.

Many, who came to visit these puppies were immediately drawn to this little girl and not only because of her amazing face but because she displays such a gentle and amazing disposition.

I hope to find her a home equally as lovely as this little beauty is.

Time to eat! http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/02/time-to-eat/ http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/02/time-to-eat/#comments Wed, 27 Feb 2013 16:14:29 +0000 Town & Country Cockapoos http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/?p=3440 The little ladies and the little prince are such a joy to have around, they cheer us up with a wag of their little tails or a tilt of their adorable heads.

Of course as they grow the to-do list get’s bigger but knowing that this will be the last litter of puppies for quite a while, makes me really appreciate and enjoy the time. My laundry list starts early and one of the first things on the list is feeding time, I cook for all of my adult dogs, preparing each meal and some treats for my Cockapoos takes time, thankfully it’s something that we enjoy.

However, the puppies eat much to often for me to go through cooking multiple meals each day. So Weaning them with a great quality dog food makes it not only easy for me but for all of their new owners.

Enjoy the current pictures (taken today) and the links to past postings!!!

I thought I would show off some of Town & Country Cockapoo’s ultimate cover girls.

The intense blend of coloring is very wide ranging in these girls from deep dark Chocolate to reddish infused highlights, they have an overpowering appeal. But might I also add that their personalities are even more irresistible….

The little Darlings and Mr. Charming http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/02/the-little-darlings-and-mr-charming/ http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/02/the-little-darlings-and-mr-charming/#comments Sun, 17 Feb 2013 19:06:23 +0000 Town & Country Cockapoos http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/?p=3390 Time seems to fly by when you are a growing puppy… These babies transform daily, just today I heard the first bark for my attention. As I turned around to look, there they all were sitting in their basket, concentrating directly towards me and why I was ignoring them.

So I temporally set down my long to-do list of organizing and indulged in the joy of being blessed with a basket of puppies to play with. Cute and cuddly, adorable beyond belief they are just full of playfulness and kisses. This litter’s development is outstanding, might be the fact that they don’t lack any empty bellies but aside from the little ladies (the last in the litter) they really are all growing fast. In a few days I will start to wean them from mom, which I have a feeling might go very smoothly.

FYI: I have two special chocolate girls still available in this litter, as I did not take enough names on the waiting list (thinking it to be a smaller litter) and as I had one application canceled. I always get email requesting for a little Chocolate princess, don’t miss a chance! Because currently I do not foresee another litter for this year or next.

Again, I truly wish to thank everyone for your understanding, patience and concerns during our current circumstances. However, we are all healthy and well thank god; so no worries there… My priorities remain towards raising healthy, happy Cockapoos and towards refining the Cockapoo as a breed through Town & Country Cockapoos. My dogs as you all know are an important part of my life and household, unfortunately it is my household which is under going some significant change, and this is reflected in all else. It has made it slightly difficult to respond to everyone in a timely manner, though I am dedicated to placing my puppies in the best forever homes so again please have patience and understanding as I try my best to handle all of this with an open heart and a smile.

Having these puppies around has been a great stress relief for me and Bella is such an amazing mother, she has been taking great care of her lovely little ladies and prince. She has been so attentive with these babies and a constant source of food for them (as you can tell by how fast and big they are growing). Here are some brand new pictures of these adorable babies, enjoy!!!

Whirlwind….. http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/02/whirlwind/ http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2013/02/whirlwind/#comments Sun, 03 Feb 2013 01:27:20 +0000 Town & Country Cockapoos http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/?p=3341 I have been fully committed to Town & Country Cockapoos and towards my goals for the future of the Cockapoo as a whole for many, many years now. I have also committed myself towards adding to the blog and keeping everyone informed as to what’s going on around Town & Country Cockapoos.

However, for a while now I have been less than consistent with my blog posting and picture updating. Many of you are well aware that my partner Jay has followed his passion and has become the proud owner of his own restaurant, we are so happy and excited about this new venture and chapter in our lives. Though, this has had some affect on me, as I wish to be as supportive and involved as possible; but this alone has reduced my blog postings and breeding program (though I have never had a consistent amount of puppies available at all times- since I am not that type of breeder), making for a lengthy waiting list and some very eager blog followers.

Well all that said, I went on to breed the lovely “Isabella” as planned late last year to “Town & Country’s Prince Raphael” with a full and available waiting list of people, I was sure to have owners for all of her unborn puppies. Well just a few short weeks ago (Jan, 15,13) Bella gave birth to a very healthy and large litter of puppies.  The puppies are mainly all girls but for one boy and are all Chocolate with one or two surprises.

These puppies have been eagerly awaited and we are all so very excited to have them. Though in the mist of these current activities another major change has come along. These will be some very difficult times though I am also sure that they will be exciting and interesting as well.

I ask for your patiences and understanding as I try to deal with this whirlwind of change and events, while caring for and raising these puppies. In the meantime here are a few pictures of mom and her babies, I promise to take more (better) pictures soon….

Recent pictures of Brooklyn’s surprise puppies http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2012/07/recent-pictures-of-brooklyns-surprise-puppies/ http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2012/07/recent-pictures-of-brooklyns-surprise-puppies/#comments Wed, 18 Jul 2012 19:57:21 +0000 Town & Country Cockapoos http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/?p=3290 I have been enjoying these puppies as much as I have been enjoying our summer. Though, on a day like today, I really would enjoy a break with a great book, a cool drink somewhere on a beach or one nice long afternoon nap under the cool breeze from the A/C.

However, my to do list is growing as the puppies grow and I have very little time between my long days to rest. Currently my to-do list  is as follows:

  • Wake up at 6am (7am if I’m really lucky),check on the babies, let the dogs out to use the bathroom.
  • feed everyone (humans as well) and clean up after the puppies.
  • Start the first load of doggie laundry for the day, Total of 9 loads a week (give or take).
  • Make the first batch of food for the puppies, while making more food for the adult dogs (remember I cook for the dogs).
  • Administrative part of Town & Country Cockapoos, answer emails, make calls, set up appointments.
  • Feed the puppies, clean up after the puppies again.
  • Work on pending and up-coming Town & Country Cockapoo projects.
  • (if time allows) grooming and baths for whom ever one of the adult dogs is due or overdue.

all the while the puppies are blissfully unaware of all that my day consist of and spend their time enjoying what puppies do best.

Available for Stud Service http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2012/07/available-for-stud-service/ http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/2012/07/available-for-stud-service/#comments Sat, 14 Jul 2012 13:49:38 +0000 Town & Country Cockapoos http://townandcountrycockapoos.com/photoblog/?p=3240 As the years have gone by I have slowly come to the full realization of just how proud I am of my beautiful Raphael. I still remember him as that cute little chocolate puppy (the only chocolate pup in Zaire & Sophia’s first litter) playing with his brothers and sisters. He was and remains charming, smart and not to mention beautiful even as a puppy.

Well Town & Country’s prince Raphael has grown up to be worthy of well establishing a heritage of dogs to be remembered and one that Town & Country Cockpaoos can be proud of displaying in their pedigree. Raphael’s overall appearance is to be admired, he displays such poise and is of such even temperament. Every new person he meets is a friend and every dog or cat becomes a new playmate, he loves children and displays a knowing gentleness around them. Note his amazing coat and admirable color, along with his hazel colored, almond shaped eyes and liver -colored nose. He has not only surpassed every vet visit but has had the best results from the health and DNA testing I do on all my parent dogs.

I believe that he really seems to understand what is expected of him as the sire for Town & Country Cockapoos. In honor of his achievements, I have decided to place Raphael out for general stud service. If you are interested in having Raphael sire a litter for your own breeding program please send me an email for details. Currently Raphael is also available for artificial insemination.

Below are a few pictures, a clear review of the litters he has sired. I believe that it only but confirms his stability…
